These terms govern your use of Nomia (trynomia.com). By using the site or purchasing a paid tier, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using Nomia, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Nomia is a product operated by Ohlson Ads LLC ("we," "us," "Nomia," or "the company"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the site.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Nomia. By using the site, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
Nomia is a baby name discovery product. You complete a quiz, we generate personalized name recommendations using artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude API), and we present those names to you. Paid tiers unlock additional names, features, and discovery tools.
When you provide your email, we use it to deliver your quiz results, save your activity between sessions, and send occasional product updates. You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide and for safeguarding access to your email inbox.
We identify users by email address. If you share your device with someone else, their quiz activity may be associated with your email unless you use the "switch account" option.
Nomia offers three paid tiers:
All payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a tier, you agree to Stripe's terms in addition to ours. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on any paid tier. Because access is granted immediately and the content is delivered on purchase, we treat every sale as a completed transaction. Please be confident in your purchase before completing it.

The site, its design, branding, logos, code, and original written content are owned by Nomia and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The individual baby names themselves are not copyrightable, and we do not claim ownership over any particular name. However, the specific curated lists we provide to you, including our descriptions, tags, and presentation, are original works of authorship and may not be republished or redistributed without permission.
You retain ownership of any content you submit (quiz answers, saved names). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
We aim to keep Nomia available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The site may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, third-party service outages (including our AI provider, hosting provider, or payment processor), or other reasons beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any part of it at any time, with or without notice.
Nomia is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses. We do not warrant that the names, meanings, origins, or other information we provide are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ohlson Ads LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these terms or your use of the site exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ohlson Ads LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and contractors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Nomia integrates with third-party services including Stripe, Anthropic, Supabase, Brevo, Google, and Microsoft. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their actions or failures.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or your use of the site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we may also notify you by email. Continued use of Nomia after an update means you accept the revised terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Nomia at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the site ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. The unenforceable provision will be replaced with an enforceable one that best reflects the original intent.
